Intra-ruling party clashes rises,Extra judicial killings are also rise alarmingly

Extra judicial killings are on the rise in Bangladesh alarmingly. In the span of a couple of days, seven men in ruling party were killed that reveals that the government has lost her control over the state-run judiciary system and resorting killing mission to her unruly people by other means. Side by side, intra-political armed conflict caused the killing incidences also in the ruling party. Three ruling party men were killed due to clashes over garment waste rag trade. A Jubo League leader was killed on National Mourning day in Khustia while another Jubo League leader went on the unruly attack to teachers and female students there. In capital’s Hazaribag, a Chattra League leader beats a young girl to death that is a horrible scene in the country the people never ever seen in their life. Before that, in Magura even an unborn child was hit by a bullet during clashes between two groups of Chhatra League. Family members accused, Awami Swechhasebok League Kustia district general secretary Sajjad Hossain Sabuz was picked up RAB men on early Friday morning and not returned back home. On the other hand a Jubo League leader was killed in a factional clash that claimed the life in Gazipur. Venting his anger at the killing of BCL’s Hazaribagh Thana a unit president Arzu Mia in the so-called gunfight, local AL MP Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) killed Arzu after picking him up, not in the gunfight. When contacted, BCL president Saifur Rahman said, we support no killing. We will take action late, after investigating the matter. AL senior leader Suranjit Sengupta said, Chhatra League is a political party formed with the ideals of Bangabandhu. They might have deviated, but crossfire is not a solution to that deviation. The solution will have to be made politically. We will have to find a solution by grooming party workers and leaders based on ideology and principles. AL’s youth front Bangladesh Awami Jubo League’s general secretary Harunur Rashid said, our stance is zero tolerance for terrorism. The party expels anyone of the committee if found guilty. The independent sources said that the prime minister’s message to take a tough stance against criminal activities has already been sent to the heads of different law enforcement agencies. At a program of Swechchhasebak League, AL general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam called on the party leaders and workers to give up greed. He had said such a situation had cropped up before the killing of Sheikh Mujib, so we should be cautious. The former Chattra League president and roads and bridge minister Obaidul Quader said action against the unruly party men had begun. The main opposition party BNP alleged that the Awami League-led government is trying to conceal the facts of sliding law and order by resorting to crossfire.He feares that the leaders and activists in the opposition camps might be killed in the crossfire in the days to come.
