A Bangladesh origin militant of the Islamic State has been killed
in an airstrike in Syria in December, according to the US-led coalition.Top
spokesperson for the coalition Col Steve Warren listed names of 10 Islamic
State leaders killed by airstrikes, reports the Washington Post.
Syria-based Bangladeshi militant Saiful Haque Sujan was killed near Raqqa on
Dec 10, Warren said.
Educated as a computer systems engineer in the UK, Sujan was an 'external
operations planner' for the militant group.
He had a role in hacking efforts, use of anti-surveillance technology and
weapons development, Warren added.
All 10 Islamic State leaders killed and named on Wednesday were mowed down by
airstrikes, mostly using unmanned aircraft, he said.
The list includes Charaffe al Mouadan and Abdul Kader Hakim, who had ‘links' to
the Paris attackers, according to Warren.
